How to Reduce Proteinurea

Is protein in urine bad

Yes, it is. Protein in urine definitely means that there are some problems with the kidney or gut that needs attention.

Protein in urine 1

Albumin in urine is what we call proteinuria. Albumin is the protein. The urine protein normal range g/l is 0.1 g/L.

Proteinuria Symptoms

Proteinuria symptoms includes bubbly or frothy urine when urinating.

Proteinuria Test

Proteinuria can be tested using dip stick method or 24 hour urine collection method.

Proteinuria diet

Some people ask me will drinking water reduce protein in urine. Drinking water up to 2-3 litres per day will reduce toxicity and creatinine levels of body. Thereby increasing the chances of healing. So indirectly water intake reduces proteinuria. However it again depends on the diet you are going to choose.

Some ask how long can you live with proteinuria. Well, we cant actually say that. It depends on co morbid diseases, age, hereditary etc.

You can follow an elimination diet starting from Carrot and Water. Then later add each food and check if you are having bubbly or frothy urine.

Remove from list for inflammation or proteinuria: Peppers, eggplant, chayote, paprika, chilies, glutenous grains.

Glutenous grains: Wheat (including wheat varieties like spelt, kamut, farro and durum, plus products like bulgar and semolina), barley, rye.

Gluten-free: Oats (naturally gluten-free but may contain gluten if processed in a plant w/wheat. It will be minimal), corn, millet, rice (not white), sorghum, amaranth, buckwheat, quinoa (limited)

I had heavy proteinuria and I tried the following and finally I was able to make it disappear..

I drink 2 ltrs of water every day. I drink pomegranate juice with grounded flax seeds.
For breakfast, lunch and dinner, I eat veg salad only.

I saute onions, carrots, green beans, ginger and garlic in a large pan and boil it with water. I then add turmeric and cinnamon powder only. Then adds broccoli, Curry leaves and coriander leaves Once cooked, I drink the veg broth and eat the salad with 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar. I take a probiotic at night.

I eat red apples and water melon in between.

This made my visible proteinuria disappear. I went to the lab and it showed only trace amount.
